Mrs Zlata Sinkovic, who has been with our company since Day One, the foundation date of productware, has now taken well-earned retirement. From now on, instead of looking after SMD material for our customers' orders, she will have her work cut out looking after her beloved young grandson.
This will enable her daughter to return to work, while Zlata Sinkovic can enjoy spending plenty of time with the little boy. It's a genuine win-win situation for the Sinkovic family, especially as almost three decades spent by Zlata Sinkovic in our company have barely left their mark on her. productware Managing Director Herbert Schmid expressed this very neatly when he admitted he knew no-one who had stayed so young, altered so little, as Zlata Sinkovic - in the space of over 35 years. By the way, Sinkovic and Schmid knew each other well, long before productware's inception in 1988. They had worked together at Dolch Logic Instruments since 1982.
Herbert Schmid thanked Zlata Sinkovic for her excellent performance at all times, her constant and unswerving loyalty to the company, and her exemplary demeanour towards line managers, colleagues and business partners. "Mrs Sinkovic was there, wherever she was needed, and fulfilled a variety of roles superbly in procurement processing and later material management, where she focused on preparing SMD material." Schmid suggested a thought for Zlata Sinkovic to take away with her: now she should do what really mattered to her, not put things off, even pamper herself a bit more. His closing words were, "always remember: every day counts!" as he wished Zlata all the best for her future.
For her part, Zlata Sinkovic thanked all her line managers and colleagues for being great to work with. She stressed that it had always been important to her to take the company forward together, in a teamworking spirit.
Although times had not all been rosy, she had always felt very much at home at productware and could say she had experienced real job satisfaction as an employee over a very long time span. That made it very difficult to say goodbye.
"I leave the company with a tear in one eye but a twinkle in the other. I look forward to the times ahead, but can also remember the good times I've had working at productware. Mr Schmid is someone I've known and respected for what is now over half my life," concluded Sinkovic.
